Road trippin' through Mallorca

Despite its reputation as tourist-infested party island, Mallorca is actually one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Its size is perfect for exploring the entirety of the island and is incredibly diverse despite it being petite - travel buddy Alex and I discovered scrumptious seafood, charming port towns, lively beaches, majestic mountains and we were rewarded with some beautiful sunsets. We hired a car for a week, spent a few days in Sant Elm, then journeyed over to Portopetro and finally Santuari de Cura, where we stayed in a former monastery. It was here that we felt at the heart of the island - there was no-one around for miles and being on top of a mountain meant we could see the whole of the island. It was one of those magical moments that you don't forget in a hurry.
