Greece. What springs to mind when the word is uttered? Beautiful beaches, ancient history, the Olympics, philosophy, feta cheese, olives...it's the ultimate tourist destination. One of the most mountainous countries in Europe and boasting thousands of islands, Greece has its own unique charm and remains a desirable destination despite the very serious financial crisis they are facing at this time. Greece is a big country but there are certain famous cities and well-known areas, so myself and my good friend Alex decided to do some travelling through some of the more touristy parts of the country. We started by flying to Zakynthos, heading over to Athens, the capital, and then island hopping through Mykonos, Paros and Santorini.
